My story
After growing up in Québec’s countryside, I spent my twenties traveling, tree planting and completing a Bachelor's and a Masters degree in Anthropology. I earned my Masters (M.Sc.) from Université de Montréal in 2013. Along with a deep study into modern and ancient yogic texts, my research’s goal was to better understand the impact of Ashtanga yoga in the practitioner’s lives. It also had a focus on Anthropology of the body and the modern expression of religiosity. During my studies, I worked as a researcher for the Groupe de Recherche en Diversité Urbaine (GRDU). This multidisciplinary university research group studies Quebec society with a particular focus on Montréal. You can find one of my research articles in the publication page of this site. I also have been a guest lecturer at the CEETUM in Montreal.
In 2014, I set off to Boulder, Colorado to deepen my interest in body mind health by attending the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration. I completed my training in 2016. I am a Certified Rolfer.
After officially moving back to BC, I continued this quest through the Massage Therapy Program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. I completed this training in 2020. I am a Registered Massage Therapist and health coverage applies.
