What should I wear to my Rolfing® appointmenT?
Wear something clean and comfortable for the session. Underwear, gym shorts, a regular or sports bra, a bathing suit top or bottom. Please refrain from wearing oils and lotions to the session because they make it harder to “anchor” into the connective tissue.
Can I come in and NOT do a ten series?
Yes. If you come in to alleviate a complaint outside of the structure of the Ten Series, I ask that you consider three sessions. Three sessions allow enough time to address your complaint and how your whole body is compensating in relation to it. However, I don’t expect anyone to schedule more than one session at the time. This allows you to see if my touch and the way I work will be appropriate for you at this time. After three sessions, we can discuss if and how much more work may be appropriate to help with your return to comfort, ease and greater physical performance.
Although you will get the most benefits from going through the whole Ten Series, if you are curious or interested to start with just a few sessions, the first three sessions of the Ten Series is good place to start. After the third appointment, you may stop there or take a break for a few weeks to continue later with the rest of the series.
